The Shires Flat Ring Jointed Eggbutt is a thinner mouthpiece which can make this bit a little stronger, however, it may be a more comfortable option for a horse with a small mouth.

The smaller sizes of this bit come with smaller rings to ensure the bit remains in proportion.

Inside Ring Diameter: 3.5" - 4.5" with 55mm ring, 5" - 6" with 75mm rings

Mouthpiece thickness: 3.5" with 14mm thickness, 4" - 5.75" with 15mm thickness & 6" with 17mm
