This Shires Sweet Iron Loose Ring has a Waterford mouth made of many different links which makes it difficult for the horse to take a hold. This bit should be used under supervision or by an experienced rider.

Sweet iron is an excellent material for the mouthpiece of bits, as it oxidises easily whch encourages the horse to salivate and assists in softness and acceptance of the bit. The copper helps most horses to salivate, relax and have a more relaxed and supple jaw which helps control and communication with the rider.
