Important note: We always recommend using a Fitkit to size all Scoot Boots, as their size chart although a good guide, cannot take into account heel height/ hoof angle and a number of other factors which will also play a big part in determining the correct boot size.

Scoot boots are very lightweight and simple hoof boots, that represents the latest innovation in hoof boot technology. The Scoot boot unlike other hoof boots, will not get soggy, heavy or wet when riding through wet terrain, as there are no material parts to hold moisture. The Scoot Boot is constructed of very strong thermo-plastic urethane (TPU) as well as the securing straps, which gives the Scoot Boot superb strength to stand up to all types of terrain that you and your horse may ride over.

The Adjust (formerly known as the Enduro) is particularly useful for horses that are difficult to fit in original Scoots due to heel height, as the Scoot Boot Adjust will usually fit horses with upright hooves, high heels or under run heels. The Adjust/ Enduro is based on the slim fit Scoot model, so the size chart shows the sizing as slim fit.

Scoot Boot Adjust hoof boots have been designed by a farrier for use on barefoot horses, and also supports barefoot mules. The ScootBoot Adjust is ideal for long distance riding. The Adjust boot has fully adjustable straps around the heel bulbs so will accommodate various hoof types, especially high heels.

The Scoot boot Adjust Rear Screws hold the Bulb Straps securely in place. The Rear Screws are positioned lower and further back on the Adjust compared to the Scoot Boot's higher and more forward Knob Hooks. The lower profile of the Rear Screws of the Adjust hoof boot in this position minimizes the risk of catching.

Once the correct fit is confirmed, we recommend securing the Rear Screws with Loctite.

Important storeage instructions for hoof boots:

Please ensure you store your ScootBoots in their net bag ONLY and NOT placed (even in their bag) in any other type of other box/ container. As heat and certain chemicals can affect the material boots/ straps are made from, they should also not be left in a car that may become hot, and should be stored out of direct sunlight and not come in to contact with any preparations such as fly spray or hoof oils etc. Failure to do this could lead to the boots and/or straps perishing (and is not covered under Scoots warranty).
