The Shires Colour-Twist Greedy Feeder nets are designed to slow down feeding, promoting better digestion and longer stable activity. The very small mesh holes release hay or haylage gradually, requiring the horse to work harder and significantly reducing wastage on the stable floor. By extending feeding time, these nets also help prevent boredom and inactivity. The mesh measures approximately 2.5cm (1"), with a length of 40" (102cm) and a capacity of around 6kg (13lb), noting that mesh size can vary by ±0.5cm and capacities are approximate, provided as a guide to differences between haynet sizes.
