The Liverpool driving bit is one of the most popular bits for driving horses. Similar in nature to a pelham, the Liverpool differs in that it is a reversible bit, and can be used either with the smooth or serrated side of the mouthpiece. The cheek is straight, and has 3 slots for a choice of rein positions, and stonger poll pressure if required.
